Job Title: Packaging Buyer (Full-Time)

Position Overview:

As a Packaging Buyer, you will play a key role in sourcing and estimating for packaging projects, collaborating closely with our Sales and Technical teams. You will be responsible for developing cost-effective procurement strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of packaging solutions that meet our high standards for quality and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to define project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed RFQs for both domestic and international suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors.
  • Negotiate contracts regarding pricing, delivery terms, quality, and lead times.
  • Analyze market trends to develop competitive pricing using MS Excel and NetSuite.
  • Plan and manage procurement activities related to gift packaging.
  • Coordinate import and export logistics, including freight analysis.
  • Review artwork and dielines for accuracy and production feasibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; preference for candidates with accredited Purchasing or Supply Chain Management credentials (e.g., PMAC, SCMA).

Experience in gift packaging (e.g., paper shopping bags, corrugated/folding/rigid boxes) is a strong asset.

  • Proficiency in reading dielines and reviewing artwork.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin is an asset.
  • Candidates will be tested to validate required skill sets.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer with 8–10 years of experience to join our team. You’ll operate inline flexo printing presses and be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining high-quality print jobs on paper substrates. You will also work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure jobs are completed on time and to spec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate inline flexographic printing presses
  • Mix inks accurately and match colors to job specifications
  • Use color tools such as Nix to verify accuracy and consistency
  • Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments
  • Perform routine press maintenance and cleaning
  • Follow safety procedures and support a clean, organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

Who Should Apply:

  • 8–10 years of experience operating flexographic printing presses (inline preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ink mixing, color matching, and print registration
  • Experience with water-based inks and paper substrates
  • Able to use color-matching tools (e.g., Nix)
  • Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot minor issues
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
